Officeworks Cleaning Company recognises a commitment to the environment. We wish to minimise the potential harmful effects of its activities wherever and whenever possible. This includes ensuring that all products used are free from any environmentally hazardous substances. All paper consumables are manufactured from 100% recycled fibre, and that all our products and services do not emit any substances which fall outside legal control

Over the last few years the majority of our clients have become Environmental Friendly, we as a professional company, have done the same.

Cleaning Materials

Due to the nature of our business every effort is being made to counteract both new and existing environmental hazards, where cleaning solvents are required, we try to use only non-hazardous substances. Where this is not possible, our staffs are supplied with data sheets so as to minimise risks to our workers from exposure to these substances. Suitable protective clothing is provided in such instances to control risks.

Dossiers containing data sheets on all products used are available to clients, and are updated regularly.

When purchasing non-hazardous materials, every effort is made to obtain products that are Ozone Friendly and products that have not been tested on animals.

Recycling of Paper, Plastics & Tins

This company, as well as many of our clients now separate the refuse, into disposable and recycled. Our staff are instructed not only how the operation is to be carried out, but also the importance of the system.

In order to be kept updated, this company has made arrangements with the Local Council for the Environmental Health Department to keep us informed of any changes or amendments.
